Eligibility to Rent
You must be 18 years or older with a valid government-issued ID to rent or operate any of our jet skis.
If you do not have a Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC), you are required to complete our Transport Canada-compliant safety orientation checklist prior to departure.
Required Documents
- Rental Agreement
- Liability Waiver & Release Form
- Safety Orientation Checklist (if no PCOC)
- Equipment Inspection Sheet (pre- and post-ride)
- Damage Deposit Authorization (held on credit card)
Payments & Deposits
- All rentals must be paid in full at the time of booking or before equipment release.
- A damage deposit (typically $500–$1,000) is pre-authorized and may be held for up to 7 days.
- Prices are subject to HST (14%) and are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations made 48 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the rental are non-refundable.
- In the event of poor weather conditions (as determined by Roslo staff), you may reschedule or receive a full refund.
Rental Conditions
- Life jackets must be worn at all times by all riders.
- Riders must remain within the designated riding area explained during orientation.
- Operating the jet ski under the influence of drugs or alcohol is strictly prohibited.
- No reckless riding, speeding near shore, or wake creation in no-wake zones.
- Jet Skis must be returned on time and in the same condition they were rented.
Late Return & Damage Policy
- Late returns are charged $50 for every 15 minutes beyond agreed time.
- Any damage or mechanical issues discovered post-rental will be documented, and the damage deposit may be partially or fully retained to cover repair costs.
- A full damage report will be shared with you in writing.
Safety & Liability
You assume full responsibility for the safe operation of the rented equipment.
Roslo WaterSports Rentals is not liable for:
- Bodily injury
- Property damage
- Collision with other vessels
- Injury or death caused by your negligence or unsafe riding
Our insurance does not cover injuries to riders or damages to third parties.
Weather & Emergency Procedures
- If unsafe weather arises during your rental, return to shore immediately.
- Call our emergency line or alert the dock team if assistance is required.
- In case of fuel issues, fall-off, or injury: use the safety lanyard kill switch, wear your life jacket, and stay near the craft until help arrives.

All content on this website including logos, images, and text are the property of Roslo WaterSports Rentals and may not be reproduced without permission.
Modifications to Service or Terms
Roslo WaterSports Rentals reserves the right to modify or discontinue services, policies, and pricing at any time. We also reserve the right to modify these Terms without prior notice.
